I know this is a little late, but thought someone may still benefit.

I was getting the same error ([ODBC Lotus Notes]Driver not capable) and found that it can be fixed by adding your notes id (or whichever id you are using) to the 'NotesSQL Authentication List' using the 'NotesSQL Authentication List Manager' (should be on the start menu) under NotesSQL).
